On-Campus Accommodations
We offer a variety of accommodations for students and visitors. The campus facilities include the Casa Emaús guesthouse, a lounge area with a sink, stove, and refrigerator where mid-morning breaks are held, Spanish classrooms, larger meeting rooms for lectures or events, offices for faculty, staff and administration, the kitchen and dining area, and a Spanish/English library with significant holdings in the areas of theology, anthropology, and Latin American and Anabaptist history.
Room Options
Casa Emaús has the capacity to sleep up to 70 guests per night. We offer the following type of sleeping accommodations:
- Single/Small-Group Rooms: twin or bunk beds, shared bathroom on the same floor
- Dorm Rooms ensuite Bathroom: (sleep 5-9) with twin and bunk beds, and ensuite bathroom
- Dorm Rooms shared Bathroom: with twin and bunk beds, shared bathroom on the same floor
- Apartments: Four apartments are available on campus. One have capacity to 5, another with capacity to 2 and the other two sleep up to 9 people. Each has the following amenities 1-2 Bedrooms, Private Kitchenette, Living room, Ensuite bathroom
Meals
Casa Emaús guests can opt to have meals and snacks on campus for additional fees. Our skilled kitchen staff prepares three meals a day as well as mid-day snacks during breaks.
Laundry Service
Laundry can be done for SEMILLA staff and guests at the Casa Emaús guest house as well as for homestay students when needed. Pricing varies depending on whether clothes are dried in the electric dryer or on the clothesline.
Childcare Services
We can arrange childcare for Family Stay or Sabbatical participants. We contract with a reliable individual who will come on campus to provide care while you are working or studying on campus.
Meeting Room Rental
We offer meeting rooms that can seat up to 60 persons. Through our kitchen on-site, we can provide catered snacks and/or complete meals for your meeting or event. (Additional catering fees apply.) Our rental fees include coffee, tea, and water
